Remember when this whole project started with three different product ideas and absolutely no clue which direction I was going to take? Well, here we are, several weeks later and Classroom & Beyond officially has its own sales page!
This week, my focus shifted from designing the product to figuring out how to actually present it to an audience. After spending weeks researching, developing, and refining my digital toolkit, I created a sales page on Gumroad to showcase everything I’ve been working on.
I’ll admit, building a sales page was a different experience from designing the actual product. Instead of focusing only on layouts and aesthetics, I had to think about how to communicate the product’s value. What would make someone interested in downloading it? How could I explain what’s included without overwhelming them with information?
I wanted the page to reflect the same clean, modern style as Classroom & Beyond while making it easy for visitors to understand what they’re getting. The final toolkit includes 83 editable Canva pages across 12 categories, covering everything from classroom presentations and posters to newsletters, school events, and social media graphics.
Another decision I made was to offer the toolkit for free. Since this project grew out of my own experiences as an educator, I wanted other teachers and school staff to have access to resources that could make their everyday design work a little easier.
Creating the sales page also made me realize how important product presentation is. Even if you’ve created something useful, people still need to understand what it does, who it’s for, and how to access it. The descriptions, screenshots, and overall organization all contribute to that first impression.
Looking back at the entire process, it’s pretty cool seeing how much this project has evolved. What started as a market research assignment eventually became a complete digital product with its own visual identity, customizable templates, and delivery guide.
Of course, there’s always room for improvement, especially once people start using the kit and sharing feedbac but for now I’m proud to have taken an idea from the brainstorming stage all the way to an actual launch.
